Are you a little shy? If so, don’t fret, as you certainly aren’t the only one, especially when it comes to having your wedding photos captured! However, you certainly won’t want to present yourself as awkward or uncomfortable throughout your wedding photos.

Are you aware of how you could put yourself at ease when having your photos captured on your big day?

Here at Joseph Hummel Photography, we believe that every photo from your wedding should showcase positive emotions! That’s why we have gathered some tips to assist you with being photographed if you are shy. Would you like to discover some helpful advice? If so, be sure to continue reading:

  • Practice Beforehand. Taking part in an activity for the first time can be a little nerve-wracking! Especially when it comes to having your photos captured on your wedding day. You can prepare beforehand by taking part in an engagement photo session. This will provide you with the opportunity to get comfortable in front of the camera as well as with your photographer. In addition, you will know what to expect when it comes to stepping out in front of the camera on your wedding day.

  • Know Your Worth. You are beautiful! And, it is important that you are confident in yourself and your appearance. If you lack confidence, it will show throughout your photos, which is the last thing that you will want to showcase. So, know that your flaws are not flaws…they are what make you who you are, and avoid focusing on any negativities that you believe that you have, and instead flaunt your confidence for the camera!

  • Enjoy Your Day. Instead of focusing on the camera, focus on your wedding day! You will take part in many festivities and you should enjoy all of them naturally. It is best to pretend that your photographer and the camera aren’t even there, so that you can present organic and beautiful images. By not focusing on the camera, you can be comfortable and continue enjoying your celebration.

You certainly won’t want to appear shy throughout your wedding photos! These are just a few of the many tips that you could utilize to feel more comfortable as you have your own wedding photos captured. Are you all set to book your wedding photographer in Lake Tahoe?
