We want you to know what to expect when it comes to your wedding photography! That’s why, here at Joseph Hummel Photography, we have decided to answer some common wedding photography questions. To gain some great insight, be sure to continue reading:

  • Should You Have an Engagement Photo shoot? Engagement photoshoots are great for getting to know your photographer and becoming comfortable in front of the camera. It would certainly be ideal, as they are a great way to assist you with knowing what to expect when it comes to being photographed on your big day.

  • Are Family Portraits Necessary? Doing family portraits really do contribute to your wedding memories. It’s best to capture family portraits on your special day. If this doesn’t sound very appealing to you, you don’t have to worry. Family portraits don’t have to include your great cousins and uncles twice removed. Just the immediate family is necessary for great photos.

  • Should You Do a First-Look Session or Post-Ceremony Photos? This really comes down to how intimate and personal you want your big day to be. With first-look photos, you will get completely uninterrupted time together before your walk down the aisle. You will also get a front row seat to your partner’s reaction as they view you for the first time as a bride or groom. Having photos captured after the ceremony gives you more time to bask in your new relationship status and will show your newlywed glow. However, you can also have both captured.

Now that your common questions have been answered, you are ready to plan the perfect wedding photography! Here at Joseph Hummel Photography, as a Lake Tahoe wedding photographer, we would be grateful to capture your wedding day. Please feel free to get in touch with us today to book your Incline Village wedding photographer.
